How long will it be after acceptance before I am given work?

When your application has been accepted the Project Managers will be informed, and your details will be entered on our database. When a suitable project becomes available, it will be offered to you via email. It may be a little while until we have a suitable project but we will be in touch!

How much will I be paid?

The rates of pay vary with each project. Higher rates are paid when the work is complex, or the subject requires some degree of specialist knowledge, and more time is needed by the writer to conduct research. You will be informed of the rate of pay when you are offered the project. Payments are made monthly via PayPal only.

Do I have to complete a test?

If you are applying to be an editor, you will be asked to edit a test piece. Some previous experience of editing work is also preferred. If applying to be a writer, we will ask to see something you have written in the past.

Does English have to be my first language?

No, we are looking for creative writers and editors from all over the world. However, you will only be offered projects in your first language.
