Who are Purecontent?

We’re a growing Content Marketing agency based in the heart of Norwich. We provide content creation, digital marketing, and SEO services for a global client base in multiple languages, across a diverse range of industries. There are around 40 of us based in Norwich, and we have a strong community of content creators, writers and editors located all over the world.

The Vacancy

We are looking for a confident, experienced content editor to work on a number of large projects in our portfolio. A successful applicant will have a thorough working knowledge of content editing.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Outstanding grasp of English language.
  • Ability to write and edit content to a professional standard.
  • Proofreading and editing English content, including within the Finance industry as well as other subjects, such as iGaming and Education.
  • Checking for plagiarism, quality, grammar and spelling, accuracy, and client requirements.
  • We’ll provide training to help you understand the exact style we’re looking for.
  • Produce interesting and educational content on financial themes across a range of mediums.
  • To guarantee that the content contains correct and current information, conduct in-depth research on financial themes, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Establish a consistent language and aesthetic for financial material that reflects the client expectations.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading abilities and a sharp attention to detail.
  • The capacity to successfully explain complex financial facts to a non-expert audience by simplification.
  • The capacity to create writing that is interesting to read, inventive, and effective at presenting difficult financial facts.
  • Proven ability to collaborate in a team setting, express ideas clearly, and consider input from various stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2+ years working in a content environment. Experience in writing and editing content, content marketing and SEO is desirable.
  • Excellent written and spoken English with a thorough working knowledge of grammar and punctuation.
  • Education to A-level or equivalent or existing industry knowledge with a minimum B Grade at English and Maths (or level 6) at GCSE.

Location and hours

We are based in Norwich City Centre. Our standard working hours are 8.30-17:00 Mon-Fri. We have a flexible working policy in place after successful probation.
