Hootsuite has become the latest platform to enable publishers to manage their videos within a one-stop hub for all channels after launching a new integrations service. The company claims that the move will help brands to boost engagement and reduce complexity across all social channels.
Video has become central to social media marketing strategies recently, with the likes of Facebook introducing a slew of new features to make it easier for enterprises to create and market content to their target audiences. Hootsuite’s video integrations will bring together video management for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube in one simple-to-use platform.
“Hootsuite integrations enable organisations to better manage their videos alongside other social media initiatives,” a spokesperson said. “From the Hootsuite platform, users can approve, schedule, and publish videos across social networks. The video integrations also allow users to monitor comments and collaborate securely as a team to manage multiple accounts so that they can respond faster to customers’ inquires.”
Marketers will have access to a range of new features, such as being able to schedule and share videos across a number of social networks and respond to comments made by followers, fans and friends. There will also be additional analytics improvements, which will enable the ability to monitor industry trends and competitors. Brands will be able to manage their video campaigns from mobile devices as well.
Hootsuite CEO Ryan Holmes said that the new integrations would be key in helping brands to evolve their digital transformation strategies and would offer much-needed support to clients who are investing heavily in video in order to promote themselves, broaden appeal and engage and grow their audience.
The company is set to host a special social video webinar on 3rd May, when it will talk about the importance of embracing a “video-centric mindset” for social strategies. It will also cover ways in which to create and find engaging video and how exactly brands should be using the potentially lucrative tool to market themselves successfully.
